Botuin is approximately 5 hectares big at the foot of the Maskam Mountains and the Troe-Troe river runs through our grounds. It is normally dry but in winter we do get the occasional flooding which is something spectacular to witness.
At Botuin, we believe in organic and sustainable farming and thus everything is done with love and by hand. We grow our own vegetables and a wide variety of fruit – pomegranates, quinces and figs, available in season. We also have a herb garden and guests are welcome to pick some fresh produce.
Japie manufactures exceptional wooden furniture and all the cottages are equipped with his handwork.
