Welcome to Botuin Cottages
Botuin Cottages & Olive Farm is situated on the outskirts of Vanrhynsdorp. It is a 5 hectare farm with 400 olive trees. Apart from the olives, we also grow lucern and a wide variety of fruit trees.
We believe in sustainable farming and thus everything is done with love and by hand. We grow our own vegetables and a wide variety of fruit – pomegranates, quinces and figs, available in season. We also have a herb garden and guests are welcome to pick some fresh produce.
Accommodation
Botuin offers 3 cottages. They are all open-plan units. Kalamata Cottage and Mission Cottage both have one Queen-size bed and one single bed. Frantoio Cottage has 2 single beds in the open-plan area with a separate bedroom with a Queen-size bed.
All the Cottages are fully equipped with all kitchen necessities, DSTV, air-conditioning and private braai facilities.
Special Interests
Salome is a Specialist Nature and Astronomy Guide and offer guided walks/tours to our esteemed guests at a special discount when staying two or more nights. We also offer breathtaking stargazing under crystal-clear skies at night, weather permitting.
